Reports and conversation analysis

Open the Analytics workspace

Open Analytics, choose a Sender, and select a customer from Contacts. You can search recipients by name or phone number and filter the list by phase. Report results are available only to team members who can access that customer's conversation.

Run a report

In the customer's workspace, use Select report to choose an available report routine, then select New Report. A report routine analyzes the customer's conversation and available files according to its instructions. It does not change the customer's conversation or files.

Reports use the customer's conversation history and attached files as read-only source material. A report cannot add, edit, or delete customer files.

The Report History list records each run with its routine name, date, and status. Only one report can run for a customer at a time. While it is running, the action is disabled and the status may read Working..., Still working on it., Taking longer than usual., or Still going. High demand right now. These labels describe elapsed time; they are still one running report.

The final statuses are completed and failed. A temporary service problem may take longer while Yapper retries. A failed report keeps its failure message in the history so you can decide whether to run it again.

Report memory and integrations

A report routine can have Memory enabled. Memory is specific to a report routine and customer, and carries editable notes or preferences into later runs. Public API integrations can read, replace, or clear this memory when it is enabled; see public-api.

Public API clients can list report runs, start a report, check its status, and retrieve a completed report. A report.completed webhook is sent when a run finishes successfully or fails, with the final status and captured structured fields; see outbound-webhooks.

View and manage results

Select a history row to open it. A completed result appears in the report viewer and includes:

You can select Delete Report for a completed or failed result. Yapper asks for confirmation because deletion cannot be undone. A running report cannot be deleted.

Structured fields and customer columns

Report routines can declare Structured Fields such as a status or category. When a run captures a value, the completed report can show the field's label and value under Extracted Fields. These values are read-only in the report viewer.

Admins can also surface a captured field as a column on the Phases table. From the gear panel there, an admin selects Add report column, picks the output, sets its label, and — for outputs with a fixed set of outcomes — chooses a colour for each outcome. The value then appears as a read-only column for the whole workspace, with a small coloured dot beside it. See phases-table for the full column setup. These columns reflect report results and cannot be edited.
